Cat heavy duty temperature sensors use thermocouples for sensing temperature. The sensor electronic module is aluminum with a pigtail connector. The sensor harness is protected by glass fiber sheathing and stainless steel braiding. Heavy duty temperature sensors are available as passive sensors or active sensors with PWM output.
